Many applications require a transformer with a NEMA 4X enclosure. The customer is responsible to bring the input/output wirings to the NEMA 4X enclosure without compromising the NEMA 4X capability. Since the transformer is fully sealed inside the NEMA 4X enclosure without any air flow, the customer is responsible to provide adequate air flow inside the NEMA 4X enclosure without compromising the NEMA 4X capability.
L/C Magnetics is a high current auto transformer manufacturer. L/C Magnetics can offer you a transformer from 1 KVA to 100 KVA in a NEMA 4X enclosure. Current capability can be 1 Amps to 500 Amps. Voltage capability could be up to 5000 VAC. All input/output connections are inside the enclosure.

- Primary: 480 VAC, 600 A, 3 PH, Delta
- Secondary: 208 VAC, 1388 A, 3 PH, Wye
- NEMA 4X Enclosure: 72”H x 72”W x 42”D approximately
- Three temperature sensors are used (connected to primary, secondary and core).
- Temperature controller will turn the fans on at 90ºC and shut the fans off at 70ºC.
- Two fans are connected in the bottom of the enclosure for cooling.
- Unit has partial NEMA 4X capability.
- Inlet air and exhaust air are from the side of the enclosure and below the top cover.
