Product Overview:
L/C Magnetics is a High Gapped Inductor Manufacturer. We build Inrush Current Applications inductor, Current Limiting Applications inductor and AC and DC Filter Applications inductor. All our Gapped Inductors are custom built to order. These inductors are not air gapped inductors. The gap is filled with a suitable insulation material.
The Current range of the gapped inductors is up to 4000 Amps. Inductance values range from 10 uH to 2 H. We can offer gapped inductors as open core and coil units, encapsulated units or NEMA 1 enclosed units.
An example of a Custom High Current Gapped Inductor, part number 19016L is shown below. Copper bus bars are 4"W x 3/4" thick. Ten holes are provided to offer 4000 amp current capability using high current cables.
