Product Overview

High Current Transformers are used for many applications such as circuit breaker testing, heating element for electric ovens, aluminum melting, glass melting and semiconductor welding equipment.

L/C Magnetics is a high current transformer manufacturer. We offer a unique capability for High Current Transformers. We have the tooling and the proper winding equipment to manufacture these units with a fast turn around. Current rating is up to 20,000 Amps on the output. We build a lot of aluminium melting transformers.

This is a single secondary turn transformer. A 5" x 5" window is provided for the customer supplied 4000 Amp bus bar.

Single Turn High Current Transformer, 60 KVA, P/N 18738A1

L/C Magnetics is a high current transformer manufacturer. We offers a unique capability for High Power Transformers. We have the tooling and the proper winding equipment to manufacture these units with a fast turn around. Current rating is up to 20,000 Amps on the output. We build a lot of aluminium melting transformers.

This is a single secondary turn transformer. A 5" x 5" window is provided for the customer supplied 10000 Amp bus bar.

If taps 1 and 3 are used, output is nominal
If taps 1 and 2 are used, output is approximately 5% higher
