The photo and schematic of the three phase autotransformer, part number 6112B is shown below. This is ideal for 480 to 440 step down applications. The unit is housed inside an indoor enclosure. Auto transformers are much cheaper than isolation transformers. A comparable isolation transformer will be 12 times bigger in size with higher cost.

- Output: 440 VAC, 2624 Amps, 3 PH, 60 Hz
- Copper winding construction
- Copper bus bars are 4” x 3/8” with two holes
- P/N 6112B consist of three single phase transformers (T1, T2 and T3) inside an indoor enclosure
- Indoor enclosure: 50” H x 65” W x 36” D
- Comparable Isolation transformer will be 12 times bigger in size.
T1, T2 and T3
will be housed inside an indoor enclosure as shown below. The three neutrals
will be joined together with jumpers J1 and J2.
